Call for contributions: Using VR & AR in Higher Education

June 29, 2020

Free

In this first national meeting of those testing the use of Virtual and Augmented Reality in Higher Education Teaching and Learning we’re seeking to develop a national network of those working with these emerging technologies to share best practice and develop potential collaborations.

In addition, we’re delighted to welcome Stephan Caspar, Assistant Professor from Carnegie Mellon University in the US. Stephan leads the newly opened Askwith Kenner Global Languages and Cultures Room which supports language learning and cultural competence through the use of immersive technologies. Stephan will be able to share his experiences as part of a workshop on what has worked in developing his own resources and using off the shelf software. More on Stephan and this workshop can be found here https://tinyurl.com/dcad-vr-2020

If you’re interested in sharing your experiences via a 20 minute talk please email Sam Nolan on [email protected] by 5pm on 29th June.
