If you are interested in being involved directly in the activities of CHER, and are involved in, or developing an interest in higher education research and scholarship, there are a number of ways that you can connect with the Centre.

Membership of CHER involves a formal recognition of association with the Centre in PURE. CHER will appear as one of your organisational units in your PURE profile, and you can attribute any research outputs and activities in PURE to the Centre.  This is one way that we keep track of higher education research activity and demonstrate our supportive research environment.  To apply for CHER membership, you need to fill out a simple on-line form and the Directors will then have you added on PURE, and you will be entered onto the main CHER mailing list.  

Not everyone will want to engage fully in membership of the Centre and may wish to simply be on a mailing list for notification of events and approaching deadlines relevant to higher-education, teaching and learning interests. For this purpose we share a mailing list with the St Andrews Learning and Teaching Initiative (SALTI).  You can sign up to the combined CHER and SALTI notification list by completing a simple online form. You do not need to be on this  list if you are on the main CHER list.
