Research Fund Outcomes 2020
In spite of all the uncertainty around the COVID-19 shutdown, we were delighted at the number of applications we received for the Teaching, Learning and Higher Education Research Fund. The fund was administered collaboratively between CHER, SALTI, and CEED. Ten high-quality applications were submitted from across the University, and the following six projects were selected for funding this year.
Principal Investigator | Title |
---|---|
Dr Dharini Balasubramaniam, School of Computer Science | Online Tool Support for Learning, Teaching and Assessment in Computer Science |
Dr Ken Mavor, School of Psychology & Neuroscience | Taking on the attainment gap: identity-incompatibility of non-traditional university students and learning-undermining behaviours (procrastination and self-handicapping). |
Jennifer Taylorson, International Education Institute | A Guide for Good Practice in Online Teaching and Learning: Developing a Foundation for Transformative CPD |
Dr Majied Robinson, School of History | End-user research and proof of concept investigation for ‘The Visual Historian’ |
