Co-Production of Curricula in HE

The involvement of students in curriculum design for Higher and Further Education presents exciting opportunities; but we also want to explore the limits of this approach.
What are the pay-offs, what are the barriers, and what are the implications for both students and staff? The campfire will discuss these and other relevant issues using, of course, a coproduction approach!
Students and Staff: designing curricula together?
The Young Academy of Scotland is hosting a workshop at 1pm on Thursday 24th September in the ‘Discovery Tent’ at the Creative Bravery Festival (https://creativebraveryfestival.com/). We will be digging down into one of the topics raised by our joint RSE/YAS discussions on the future of Tertiary Education: the opportunities and challenges of involving students in the design of classes/modules/curricula. It will be an interactive workshop, offering participants the chance to try out some co-design in real time as we explore the possibilities and barriers.
