European Society of Psychology Learning and Teaching (ESPLAT)

Our team presented research on student belonging at the bi-annual ESPLAT conference in Münster. Paula Miles (University of St Andrews) and Kateřina Machovcová (Charles University) introduced the first analyses from the belonging trajectory workshop, developed and piloted at both institutions. Their talk, Reflecting on Belonging: Bridging Scientific Reasoning in Psychology Education, was part of the symposium Fostering Critical, Scientific and Creative Thinking in Psychology Education, chaired by Machteld Vandecandelaere (KU Leuven). The presentation was prepared in collaboration with Irena Smetáčková and Anna-Maria Kutateladze (Charles University).

The European Society of Psychology Learning and Teaching (ESPLAT) is an official European academic organisation whose aim is to advance the learning and teaching of psychology at all educational levels, and to provide a forum to engage researchers and teachers of psychology in communication and exchange.
